You’ve spent years honing your craft. You’ve invested in certifications, spent thousands on mentors, and stayed up late perfecting your framework. But when someone asks for your website, you hesitate. You shouldn’t have to apologize for your digital home.
In the coaching and consulting world, your website is your “silent partner.” It’s working when you’re sleeping, pitching when you’re at lunch, and building trust when you’re not even in the room. If that partner is doing a bad job, your whole business suffers.
To turn your website into a client-attraction machine, focus on these three things:
- The Hero Method: Your visitor is the hero of the story, not you. Your website shouldn’t say “I am amazing because of X, Y, and Z.” It should say “You are struggling with X, and I have the map to get you to Z.” Shift the focus to their victory.
- The Power of “The One”: Every page on your site should have ONE goal. The homepage should get them to the services page. The services page should get them to the booking link. When you give someone too many choices, they choose to do nothing.
- The Speed of Trust: Use real photos, real video, and real testimonials. In an era of AI-generated everything, human “messiness” and authenticity are your competitive advantages. Let them hear your voice and see your results.
Your website is the container for your brilliance. If the container is cracked, people will doubt the quality of what’s inside. It’s time to fix the leaks and start showing up like the pro you actually are.
Your expertise is too important to be invisible. Share this with a fellow coach who is ready to take their business to the next level!
